Sharkfins McFuck... @sapphyrnidae95 Replying to @melodramateur Follow Honestly the saddest thing to me is the lack of excitement over learning. Like yeah everybody has subjects they don't care about or struggle with but for EVERYTHING? Maybe I'm just a dork but I love researching topics that interest me and showing off what I learned

marcy@egirldesire 8h Replying to @melodramateur i blame it on the public education system tbh. there is such a heavy focus on students going to college immediately after graduation as if there are not other options like trade school, "blue collar" work, cosmotology school, etc.

    • panicpuppy @panic_puppy 1d Replying to @melodramateur Universities teach a lot of useless stuff. 99% of people will never use calculus but it's required in all undergrad sciences. If they taught us stuff we need to use there'd be a lot less cheating. Trade schools are much better. 14 277 115 ılı 28.6K L jj @melodramateur • 1d i mean while there are some weird requirements here and there for the most part i think there are a lot of necessary skills to be learned in classes not related to your s
